Fr. Roy presided with Deacon Pat at the AIM Sensory Friendly Mass where accommodations included softer music and lights, no bells, and shorter and more literal homilies. Sensory-Friendly Mass provides a welcoming and stigma-free environment for people with sensory-processing issues, autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, adults with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, and their family members - so they can experience Mass in a meaningful way. The All Inclusive Ministry (AIM) is in the works for planning more Sensory-Friendly Masses in the future.
