Instrumentalists & Accompanists

Guitars, woodwinds, brass, strings, and keyboards are all part of the musical tapestry at The Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley. A running roster is kept of both volunteer and professional accompanists and instrumentalists for weekly liturgies and special feasts.

Organists and pianists accompany cantors and choirs each weekend and on special feasts, Holy Days, and sacramental liturgies. The Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley maintains a roster of both generous volunteer accompanists and paid professionals to support the music program at all three parishes.

The Archangel Brass & Players is comprised of orchestral instrumentalists with a desire to give of their time and talent for festal liturgies and seasonal prayer services, especially during Christmas and Easter. Various combinations (including trios, quartets, etc.) of instruments are possible, pending interest and availability of musicians.

Rehearsals occur seasonally and as-needed, with rehearsal schedules and repertoire distributed in advance.

Instrumentalists are welcome to play weekly, for feasts, Holy Days, and special liturgies.
