Mission Appeal at St. James Church

Very Rev. Pradeep Puthenveetil, OSST (Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives) will be in our parish for a mission appeal. At each Mass, Father will ask for our prayers and financial assistance as his Order works to expand its ministry of Catholic education in Kamrup (Assam) India.

In this part of the county children do not have access to a proper education due to extreme poverty and persecution. The Trinitarians hope to expand their ministry of Catholic education through their newly opened DeMatha Elementary School. This expansion will allow the school to add additional grade levels, dormitories for boarding students, a Monastery for the religious, a playground for the younger children, and an auditorium.
