The Gospel of Mark is the shortest Gospel in the canon. It is only sixteen chapters long, and of that, one-third of it is about the last week of Jesus’ life. Mark's gospel was the first of the four gospels, forming the core of the synoptic gospels. It focuses on Jesus' actions, inclusive message, simplicity and humanity.
Deacon Dick Currie will lead a four-part program to explore Mark's gospel and what makes Mark's gospel special. The program will be held from 7-8:30pm on Mondays - May 6, May 13 and May 20, as we go through the season of Pentecost.
