Help keep our community beautiful while earning dollars to support environmental initiatives by our Called to CARE parish group (Concern, Action, Respect for the Earth).
On Saturday, April 13, from 9am-1pm, we will participate in the Hopewell Township Clean Sweep Cleanup Day. If you’d like to help, just show up at the Public Works Building, 203 Washington Crossing-Pennington Rd, Titusville for any portion of the 4- hour timeframe. We will be paid $15/hour for adults (13 and older) who help out and $11/hour for kids under 13. Work gloves are provided, or bring your own. When you sign in, be sure to indicate that you are from
St. James. Please note that although the Called to CARE group involves all 3 churches in the Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley, administratively the funds will be maintained at St. James for the benefit of all of our churches.
All are welcome to this family-friendly event. The money earned by our team will be donated by the township to our group for use in carrying out environmental initiatives as called for by Pope Francis in his Laudato Si encyclical. Questions? [email protected]
