Prophet Amos cries out “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5: 24)
 
The Season of Creation spans five weeks between the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation (September 1) and the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4).  This year we are invited to join that mighty river of justice and peace, to give thanks for Creation, and to reflect and act on our moral responsibility to protect Creation and those most affected by climate change. Throughout the Community of Hopewell Valley we will have opportunities to participate at all three parishes.
 
Please come and see some beautiful artwork at St. George highlighting God’s creation.

Throughout our parishes, watch for symbols of Creation in the altar arrangements, Prayers of the Faithful, sustainable refreshments, and bulletin announcements offering reflections and suggestions for prayer, action and advocacy.
